Q. How long will it take to receive my bags?
A. Unless stated, all bags are made to order by myself. Current lead times can be found on the banner below the menu. Postage is generally up to 3 days throughout New Zealand and up to 10 days for the rest of the world.
Q. What fabrics do you use and what colours are available?
A. I use 500D Cordura Nylon for most bags with 1000D Cordura and Cordura laminates used for high wear and attachment points. I also have some VX21 X-Pac fabrics available from Dimension Polyant and some EPX200 and ULTRA 200 laminates available from Challenge Sailcloth. To see more information on the fabrics follow the links below.

Q. Are the bags waterproof?
A. The fabric is PU (polyurethane) coated on the inside and has a DWR (durable water repellent) coating on the outer. This makes the bag very weather resistant, but because the seams are not sealed water will seep in over time.
Q. Do you ship worldwide?
A. Yes. Currently the website cannot calculate shipping accurately to countries other than New Zealand. To get a price for shipping just email with your order information and address.
Q. What warranty do you offer?
A. All gear manufactured by Stealth Bike Bags is covered for material and manufacturing failures. Zipper failure, wear and tear or improper use is NOT covered. If you do have a problem, please get in touch and we will do our best to put it right.
Q. How do I make a template?
A. See these instructions - Making a Template
Q. Can you make me......
A. Most likely, yes. Send me an email and we can discuss your ideas.
Q. Does the Pack Horse or Pack Mule work with a dropper post?
A. There is no straight forward answer here. Both should be able to attach to the post with no issues (apart from potential wear on the shaft), it is when you drop the post you will come into issues. You need to ensure you have enough clearance to the tyre, at full compression if you have a full suspension bike. You will also need to ensure that the seat post attachment also has something to wrap around.
Q. How do I clean my bags?
A. With warm water, add a environmentally friendly dish-washing soap if needed. Gently scrub to remove any caked on mud. Always dry thoroughly and never store damp.
