Initially designed as a bag to carry all the necessities for our incoming baby, we discovered it is also ideal for general everyday use and weekends.
A chunky YKK zip gives you access to the voluminous 21 litre main compartment. On the inside there are four slip pockets on one side of the bag, ideal for things like drink bottles, notebooks, pens, charging cables etc. A zipped pocket on the opposite side gives you more organisation and is large enough to fit a small laptop, tablet, paperwork or an e-reader.
On the outside there is a little zipped pocket which is ideal for storing keys and cards or anything you want quick access to. The shoulder straps are made from New Zealand made seat belt style webbing which makes for a strong and comfortable carry.
The bottom of the bag is padded with 3mm EVA foam which provides some protection to your valuable contents and gives some structure to the bag.
A pocket on the bottom of the bag also hides away backpack straps which clip on to the laser cut panel at the top of the bag. These straps can also be uses to strap the bag to a bike rack or basket, just make sure it is nice and secure before setting off!
Altogether I think these combination of features make it a pretty cool bag, able to be used for a wide variety of purposes. It is hand crafted in Wellington, New Zealand, made from quality materials, and it will last the distance.
